  • January 19 – Muskegon Pregnancy Services: Empowering clients with medically accurate information, support, knowledge and tools they need to make healthy choices to achieve their dreams and goals.
  • January 26 – Calvinist Cadet Corp: Helping boys to grow spiritually in all areas of life (devotional, mental, physical, and social) by providing Christian men with a uniquely designed structure, program, and materials so they can mentor boys effectively. We thank Kevin Dethloff, Craig Folger, Laken Konyndyk, Rick Hyma, for taking on this role here at Calvin Church.

Unspecified offering donations will be placed in the General Fund.

 

2024 Giving Update: Praise the Lord!  We have exceeded our budgeted goal for giving in 2024!  General Fund offerings were just over $589,400 and our 2024 budget was $571,058, an excess of over $18,000!  We are thankful for the faithful support of the ministries of Calvin Church, and we are grateful for your continued support as we begin 2025!

 

Please take a moment to fill out a Connection Card if you are new to Calvin and/or would like more information on a ministry and/or have a prayer concern.  Connection Cards are located in your pew or at the Info Center (by the kitchen).  Then, place it in the offering plate.  Thank you!

 

Happy Birthday!  Children ages 1 year old to 5th grade are invited to visit Ms. Courtney during their birthday week to receive a special birthday prize!

 

Activity Tote Bags are available for kids during worship today and are located in the narthex.  Feel free to grab one as you head into worship.  Before you leave, please return totes with books/toys.

 

Hearts & Hands will meet in the Fireside Room tomorrow (Monday the 13th) at 1:00 PM.  We invite all who would like to be a part of this ministry to join us for the meeting, dessert and fellowship.

 

Attention all members: Our new keycard system will be complete this week!  A new keycard is in a labeled envelope in your mailbox.  When you receive an email from the church office, you’ll need to discard your old keycard as they will be obsolete.  If you don’t find a keycard in your mailbox and you would still like entry into the church building, send Vickie an email at vickie.curtis@calvin-crc.org.

Our sanctuary is equipped with an Induction Loop Assistive Listening System.  To utilize, switch your hearing aid, cochlear implant, or tactile device to “T” (Telephone) or contact your provider for assistance.

 

 

Prayer Opportunities… 

Attention Men:  You have an open invitation to join us for breakfast/prayer at Russ’ Restaurant on Henry St. on Thursday mornings at 8:00 AM as we pray for the needs of the congregation while enjoying Christian fellowship and a wonderful breakfast.

Dear Calvin family,
